Back by popular demand to Metta Yoga is my Yoga For Depression Workshop.
This special event will allow you to explore how different Yoga poses, sequences & techniques can assist you with depression, sadness & low energy. This Yoga class has been designed after my own experiences of depression, & how I used Yoga to help heal & thrive.
As an addition to our Yoga For Depression Workshop, I have the amazing Carl Montgomery returning for a 90 minute discussion on how to find your joy through the food is medicine approach & how natural therapies can be used to treat depression.
Carl Montgomery from ACME is an Applied Integrative Medicine and Sports Conditioning Specialist. He has a vast array of qualifications including Bachelor of Applied Science (Sports Coaching and Administration), Exercise Physiology, Sports Science and Nutrition and Kinesiology. Carl specialises in sports performance, injury rehabilitation, nutritional guidance, general health and well being.
Carl has truly helped me heal & thrive, & understand why it is that my mind & body respond in the way that they do to life's ups & downs.
This special Sunday session will run in two separate sessions. You can book in for one or both sessions if you wish!
Yoga For Depression Cost $30 - 2:00pm-3:15pm
How food can influence your mood & brain function - Wellness Discussion Cost $40 - 3:30pm-5:00pm
Please note, we have more space available for the Wellness Discussion portion of the workshop than the Yoga class (due to the amount of space a yoga mat consumes). Yoga will book out quickly, so make sure you reserve your place ASAP!
